About the Tournament

Barry Weidner Memorial Golf Tournament
Curing hunger is a long shot – but it’s the difficult shot that we must take! The annual Barry Weidner Memorial Golf Tournament is our family’s way of chipping away at the problem of hunger in our community and surrounding areas one putt at a time.
Each year we organize a golf scramble tournament to honor the memory of Barry Weidner at the Chippewa Golf Course in Doylestown, Ohio.
Why at Chippewa?
It’s not just because it’s a beautiful and challenging course, but this is a course that Barry worked at, played on, nurtured and loved over the years! Partnering with Brad and Melanie Stewart (course owners), who generously host this event, we pull together a day that would have been all the things that Barry loved…friends, family, golf, and helping others.
